DESCRIPTION:http://hoverclub.org.uk/index.php?topic=3350.0: I have been approached by Tony Broad who is a very enthusiastic HCGB member and loves his racing. The HCGB has been asked again this year to put on an event at a very popular venue.\\n \\nThe HCGB has ask us to join them under the banner of hovercraft enthusiasts.\\n \\nThis will give both clubs an opportunity to get together and spread the word. \\n \\nThe event is at Cholomondeley Castle and as expected is a full on motor sport event. We would be arriving on Fri 14th June ready for the event on 15th 16th.\\n \\nWe have been offered free camping\, catering for two people per craft. This also means you can take time out and walk around the vast event which attracts upto 30\,000 people.\\n \\nWhat i would like is a selection of cruisers to attend. Craft from plans and manufactured. From a one seater integrated to larger big red well polished Osprey 5. You are more than welcome to bring a part finished craft as i\,m sure you will be pressed into answering a thousand questions by the public. \\n \\nI attended this event in 2010 with the HCGB and two craft were put on display where they sparked a large crowd all weekend.\\n \\nWe will have the opportunity to display our craft on a large lake in the middle of the event through out the weekend. SUMMARY:Irish International Hovercraft Cruise 2012

The intention is once again to have a multiple base cruise\, visiting as many different water types as possible. With any type of good weather we should surpass the 700km completed on this years cruise. If your idea of cruising includes lakes with over 120km of shoreline\, 32 islands in  one lake alone\, long river runs and taking on the sea swells of the Atlantic and a free and easy schedule\, then this is the cruise for you.\\nFor added interest\, we have decided to make this cruise truly international by hovering across to the UK (Northern Ireland branch).

A few of us attended last year\, it was a great time\, chilling by the harbour & giving a couple of demos. If the weather is conducive\, there is some great cruising territory and between demos we can launch & go. In the evening there was a band and too much beer.\\n\\nI gave a provisional 'yes' to Paul subject to confirmation in the spring when we have an idea who wants to come.\\n\\nWe probably can't take more than about 8 craft due to space limits\, but the number of people doesn't need to be limited. There's camper room (for about 5 or 6) and loads of reasonable B&B right in town\\n\\nMore details nearer the time
